My journey to massage began at the age of 10. One day my sister offered to do the dishes for me if I gave her a "back rub". Motivated by getting out of dish duty I fumbled through a few minutes of the "back rub" thinking I had gotten the most out of the deal. I quickly discovered that I had a natural affinity for massage. In that moment, my lifelong love of bodywork began.
I graduated from the Nevada School of Massage Therapy in 2006. Since then I have worked with top spas, highly skilled chiropractors and have also enjoyed a thriving private practice which includes working with professional soccer players, the Portland Timbers. Every day I wake up grateful to earn a living doing something that I absolutely love.
I keep my creative fire burning with crocheting, painting, and writing poetry. I always have at least two (okay ten) projects going at once. Reading and yoga are a few of my favorite ways to unwind. I also greatly enjoy being outdoors. You will often find me poking around my garden or hiking and exploring all the beautiful trails and natural spaces throughout Oregon. Music is another immense passion of mine. As often as I can, I venture out to see live shows around town.
Portland is absolutely breathtaking and full of amazing restaurants, wineries, brew-pubs, coffee shops, inventive workplaces and talented eclectic people. It's do-it-yourself creative nature resonate with me deeply and so I know that no matter where my wanderlust takes me, Portland will always be my home.
